Description
Lavender (Lavandula) is a genus of fragrant evergreen shrubs native to the Mediterranean, belonging to the mint family. Widely cultivated for its aromatic leaves and beautiful purple flowers, lavender is primarily used for its essential oil, prized in perfumes and cosmetics. The dried flowers are also used in sachets.
